Newly Renovated Inn at Europa Village Combines Old World Service with New World Amenities…And More!
The Inn at Europa Village made its official debut in February with a complete makeover of guestrooms, a refurbished exterior, and numerous new amenities that bring “The Inn” into the Europa Village family of hospitality offerings.
The property, which had been a successful bed and breakfast facility since the 1980s, has an exquisite view of the valley, as well as the vineyards and tasting room at Europa Village. A Rancon Group partnership purchased the property in 2011.
“We saw an opportunity to acquire this property and bring it into the fold of our vision for Europa Village,” says Dan Stephenson, Founder and Chairman of Rancon. “It is not only adjacent to our Europa property; it also has a great view of everything we are doing there. It’s just a great place for guests to come out and enjoy Temecula Wine Country and see what we are doing with Europa as well.”
In a meticulous renovation, which took nearly six months to complete, each of the Inn’s 10 guestrooms was completely refurbished. The newly landscaped terrace features a spacious hot tub overlooking the valley and a fire pit for reflective gatherings. Other improvements include new pavement and lights for the driveway, an upgraded entry way area, and landscaping improvements throughout the grounds.
The Inn has been managed by Europa’s Chef Dean Thomas, and his wife Nichole, since being acquired by Rancon. As Inn Keepers, Chef Dean and Nichole introduced a “country Inn” concept much like well established inns found on the East Coast.
“We began here by offering a different type experience, more like you find on the East Coast,” says Chef Dean. “It’s a more homey-style with a lot of attention to individuals as opposed to a hotel-like atmosphere. Today, we are very pleased to be offering these types of services at The Inn. We’ve revitalized the entire estate and are rolling out the red carpet for our guests.”
True to the east-coast style of B&B service, the award-winning Chef Dean, prepares a gourmet breakfast for guests every morning. In the evenings Nicole Thomas serves platters of premium cheeses paired with wines from Europa Village. The Inn Keepers have a combined 35 years in the hospitality business.
“We certainly have one of the loveliest locations in Wine Country and a top-of-the-line facility here at the Inn; but I think it’s our approach to service and care for our guests that really defines our Inn and sets it apart from just about anything on the West Coast,” says Chef Dean.
The Thomas’ have infused modern Inn amenities with old-world service for guests of all ages at The Inn.
“We want to make the experience for our guests at The Inn unforgettable,” says Chef Dean. “Whether they are a couple looking for a romantic getaway, or a business group on a productive retreat, we provide an environment that supports a variety of uses.”
“Many of our guests have never visited the Temecula Valley or Wine Country, so we provide all kinds of assistance from must-see-recommendations to information on golf courses and restaurants, to booking wine tours.”
First stop on any wine tour is Europa Village, where guests from the Inn receive a 20 percent discount on wine tasting, wines and merchandise. Both The Inn and Europa Village share the dedication to quality and service that is part of the Old World European concept envisioned by Rancon Founder Dan Stephenson.
“The Inn at Europa is another milestone in our plans for a totally unique wine country destination experience,” says Stephenson. “It represents our commitment to quality and service, and it is a living example of what is to come at Europa.”
Europa is a 330 acre vineyard property in the Temecula Wine Country that is planned for a 290-acre gated estate community, Europa Vineyard Estates, and a 40-acre commercial project, Europa Village, which will feature three European-style wineries and world-class resort and spa.
